There exists a rich tradition of ordinary people in communities, educational institutions, faith spaces and trade unions taking it upon themselves to defy the foreign policies of their governments through establishing their own diplomatic exchanges.

One of the best examples of this from within living memory is how the Anti-Apartheid Movement in the 1980s served not just as an avenue of defiance against the foreign policy of the tory government, but it also put people from all walks of life in British society in touch directly with movement leaders from the struggle in southern Afrika who inspired confidence in an embattled British left that change were indeed still possible and built a foundation for mutually beneficial relationships to be built after the fall of Apartheid.

Our commitment for this year is to build a campaign of People-to-Peoples Internationalist Diplomacy, where we build bridges between communities with a shared interest in Planet Repairs to come together to build the decolonial politics we need at this time.

Internationalist solidarity has always been at the heart of what we do, and by expanding on this method in particular we see the possibility for contributing towards the breaking out of the repetition of one-off protests and other symbolic solidarity whenever there is a crisis somewhere in the world.

We also welcome people who want to get involved to sign up through the link below and stay tuned for updates on how you can participate in the process during the year ahead.

You can also sign up to get involved with the PRALER Fund Campaign, which is one of the key building blocks of this process, and become part of a network of people organising in their communities for the Just Restitution of resources in solidarity with communities of resistance
