PRALER Fund Overview
Two years ago a number of different communities and structures came together to launch the Planet Repairs Action Learning Educational Revolution (PRALER) to support and strengthen an educational revolution alongside communities of resistance globally organising for Planet Repairs.
The PRALER Fund emerges as an action-learning Fund owned by Communities of Resistance, through discussions and reasoning about the role of fundraising and Just Restitution of Resources to support the struggle for Reparatory Justice.
We are committed to guaranteeing that when it comes to restitution of resources from communities in the Global North, it isn’t causing further harm but is rather aligned to the efforts for self-determination led by colonised communities.
This report covers the first two years of the PRALER Fund’s activities and income which has to a large extent been a process of action learning.
With your support we have crowdfunded over £15,500...
... and that's in addition to all the in kind efforts made towards PRALER including time, resource-drives and donations, larger one-off contributions to the PRALER Fund and access to spaces and venues, all of which have strengthened the coming together of Communities of Resistance for Planet Repairs.
With these resources now in the ownership of Communities of Resistance we have been able to fund and host the the launch of the Decolonial Open Communiversity (DOC) during the second half of 2024, with the additional support of in-kind donations of other resources from the communities which helped to host the DOC.
The Decolonial Open Communiversity is an educational institution of various processes, led by the efforts of Indigenous Communities globally, now working to escalate the Educational Revolution and build a Global Academy Commons.
This means strengthening the connexions and capacity of communities to share, through their own self-determined and managed processes, and common the knowledges of communities of resistance and our collective capacities for social and national liberations.
For this new phase of the Planet Repairs Action Learning Educational Revolution (PRALER), we are pushing to increase our regular contributions to the PRALER Fund from our wider networks, and strengthen the material and logistical support to grow unity of communities for social and national liberations. No donation is too small. We are aiming to double our monthly and regular contributions to build the reach of the PRALER, and increase collaborations and resource mobilisation in 2025. We will also be growing the conversation about truly reparatory processes for Just Restitution, and returning stolen wealth accumulated by the Establishment Minority.
We have a number of powerful updates about fund supporters and stories of personal journeys that will be published over the winter so please stay in touch with us to hear more, either through subscribing to our email list, or subscribing to PRALER_News channels.
Please share this report and our PRALER Fund website page for making contributions to your friends, families, communities and networks.

Activities
Fundraising
Groups and structures participating in the PRALER process have been promoting the fund in their communities and through various activities and events.
Fund policy
PRALER CC, XRBCAN and MWISCCCOR have discussed and agreed a policy for the fund and constituted the Planet Repairs Finance and Fundraising Consortium with the mandate to develop fundraising, financial governance and shared infrastructure. The policy can be read in full here.
The PRALER Fund is being used for strengthening community capacity building through social enterprises and cooperatives, and supporting key logistical and material needs to facilitate growing interconnexions of solidarity of communities of resistance focusing on key hardware for communications like computer, internet, and access to educational resources.
Education
The PRALER Fund stands in a long legacy of internationalist campaigning for social and national liberation. We have started compiling material telling the stories of historical efforts of internationalist solidarity organising such as the International Defence and Aid Fund to draw inspiration and learning from.
